3. Terms & Conditions

By engaging in any of our expeditions or utilizing our services, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

  3.1 Insurance

  Adequate and valid travel insurance is a mandatory requirement for all participants, both domestic (Indian) and international (Non-Indian). It is your responsibility to obtain travel insurance before the scheduled departure date.

  3.2 Booking Procedure

  To make a booking with Himalayan Daredevils, you can contact us through various channels, including our website https://himalayandaredevils.com/, email, or by calling us at +91 6398989097. The person making the booking must be at least 18 years old and possess the legal capacity and authority to do so. If one person is making the booking on behalf of others, all participants must agree to and accept the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

  For participants booking through an approved travel agent, all communication, changes, or inquiries related to the event must be coordinated through the respective travel agent.

  Upon acceptance of your booking, we will issue a confirmation invoice. Please review this document carefully and notify us of any necessary changes. The names and identity proof provided by you must be legally valid and self-attested. Travel documents and itineraries will be sent or emailed to you well in advance of the tour's departure, contingent upon receipt of the full payment and clearance of any pending checks.

  Your safety is of paramount importance to us. Therefore, it is imperative that you inform us in writing, at the time of booking, of any condition (medical or otherwise) that requires special care or attention and may impact your or other participants' experiences during the event.

  You also agree to provide any information requested by government authorities, border control, or security agencies for security and counter-terrorism purposes. This may include, but is not limited to, full name as shown in your passport or travel document, gender, age, nationality, travel document type, and number. For Indian nationals, this information may be provided only for the person making the booking (lead booking participant), while for Non-Indian nationals, the same might be requested from all participants.

  3.3 Partial Payment

  In the case of bookings made with a partial payment, you are expected to settle the balance payment at least 20 days before the scheduled departure date, as specified in the published itinerary for the event and batch booked. Failure to make the balance payment at least 15 days before the departure date will result in the cancellation of your booking. In such cases, Himalayan Daredevils will not be liable for any cash refunds. However, you may request a voucher refund, subject to the terms outlined in clause 3.1.2.

  3.4 Prices, Surcharging, and Refund Situations

  Event prices are regularly updated on our website, but we reserve the right to change prices as necessary. Temporary offers and promotions may be introduced or withdrawn without prior notice. However, those who have already booked using any promotion or offer will not be affected.

  3.5 Change or Cancellation of Booking by Participant

  Cancellation is a straightforward and automated process. You can access instructions for canceling your booking and selecting your preferred refund method (Cash/Voucher) by logging into your Himalayan Daredevils account. The system will automatically process your refund as per the policy below:

    3.5.1 Cash Refund

    • Cancellations up to 30 days before departure: 5% deduction

    • Between 30 days to 15 days before departure: 50% deduction

    • Less than 15 days before departure: No Cash Refund

  All cancellation refunds will be processed back to the bank account or credit card account used for event fee payment. Refunds will be calculated based on the net amount
